Lindsay Parkin
Dr. Lindsay Parkin is an experienced management consultant working primarily in
public sector organisations developing their HR systems and assisting in
implementing change.
With a background in cognitive psychology and communication, Lindsay gained
his doctorate and conducted research at Sussex University before moving into
management consultancy. Working primarily in the field of communication
between individuals and throughout organisations he conducts individual and
group training and consults on the design and implementation of HR systems.
Currently Lindsay is involved in Equality proofing access to development and
training for the Highways Agency and conducting an information gathering
exercise to inform the restructuring of a large city council. At the same time he is
supporting the placement of Black and Minority Ethnic trainees in planning
organisations as part of the 'tomorrows planners' programme. Lindsay is also
involved in strategic and project management of this positive action programme.
