Deborah Barleggs
Deborah has particular interest in the
development of management and leadership skills for high performance.Her work in this area has included:
identifying management competencies; reviewing appraisal and selection processes; developing career pathways for high fliers and evaluating management
training programmes.
Executive coachinghas incorporated psychometric profiling and peer feedback; career and life goal
setting; increasing behavioural flexibility; developing management styles and
approaches; enhancing problem solving and influencing strategies; crisis
trouble shooting and building on individual strengths.
Recent work includes
developing competency frameworks to facilitate career progression, performance management, learning
and development, recruitment and selection in legal firms.
Deborah holds a
B.Sc. in psychology and a M.Sc. in occupational psychology. She is qualified to
administer and feedback a number of ability and personality instruments (licensed
to use the HPI, MVPI, HDS, Firo Element-B, Myers Brigg Type Indicator and EQi
instruments).
